I am developing a MM map as front end to a Cardbox database. The purpose of the database is to compile records of past working papers, meeting decisions and the two consulting processes that led to the various amendments to the ICAO PANS-OPS Document ( the document that defines the design of instrument procedures for international aerodromes). The purpose of the front end is to give a visual picture of the main headings of the Document, which is quite complex and divided into sections, parts and chapters as related topics. Topic hyperlinks should select the related abstract cards in the Cardbox database, and from the index cards can be selected the cards for the various categories of original pdf document - and then go to bookmarks or pages in the pdf documents themselves.
I would be interested to hear from anyone who has undertaken a similar task and is familiar with the VB Scripting language. I have made provision for a certain amount of funding support.
